Ya I tried every direction. Turns out there are different gaskets that go between the plate and the pump and the plate to the timing cover. They look similar but are different. For anyone's future reference don't but Felpro # 35066. It statest clearly that ithe is for a 302 but actually only fits 35...

Water pump plate gasket

We had a 347 built for my bothers Mustang, long story short they put a standard rotation water pump on it and we needed a reverse for that set up. Anyway I have a brand new standard pump here and I'm going a timing chain replacement on my 74 Bronco and am also installing the new water pump. I cleane...

Converting C4 to Ax15

Looking to do an Ax15 swap soon after I get my FiTech installed. Anyone have a review on the aftermarket Clutch/Brake pedal assembly avail from the Bronco Vendors? Or should I try to source a OEM one? I would like to run a hydraulic clutch so I can route the line myself out of the way for header cle...

Does it turn over by hand? Possibly the starter is just stuck or broken? Every climate is different but my recent purchase of a 74' that sat for 12 years, I put a battery in it and some fresh fuel and she popped right off (carb is plugged pretty bad but it will idle decent) :) I probably got pretty ...

Thanks! I tried Sanderson's website. Maybe it's just my phone but would only bring up small block Chevy headers... Is there a specific model number I could search for and will they work with an AX15? I'm working on driveability first for my 74 I recently acquired. I see you work at Wild Horses, I mi...

GT40P headers

I have a shot at picking up a fairly low mileage 5.0 from an 98 Mountaineer for my 74'. Of course the gt40p has the goofy exhaust ports and needs special headers. I'm also going to swap out my C4 for an AX15 soon as well. Anyone have a similar setup? What headers did you use and did you have better ...

Oh interesting...Judging by the weld it must not be a factory thing? Something some one did as a modification?

Wheel cylinders are not the same, at least on my 74 they are not. There are specific ones to the 10" brake. I ended up ordering mine because no one had them avail in town. I have a 74 with the big bearing 9" with the "small" 10" brakes. Every parts store asked if I had the 2900# rear axle or the 330...

Radius arm caps with brackets?

Hey everyone new to the board from South Dakota. I recently picked up a nice uncut 74 Bronco Explorer 302, C4 Auto. The radius arm caps seem to have "brackets" welded on to them. Curious to what this would be for or what purpose they would serve? They were also painted red at one point so I know the...
