Run to Autozone and get a pitman arm puller. You'll need to pay for it up front (deposit) but they will refund the entire purchase when you return it. (Free rental)

I would like to add a couple of people that also helped out with the trail runs. Thanks go out to Dan George (GoFastCrackPipe) and Rich (StarkyPDX). They both stepped up to the plate to run the second group on the trails this year. This worked out well as we ended up with about 9 rigs in each group ...

I saw the green one but didn't stop. I already knew the asking price which was unreasonably high in my opinion ($11,500). For that kind of money it would have needed to be in showroom condition for me to even consider it which that one definately was not.

If your running the stock drivetrain then 38" tires will be hard on it. I've seen 38's under them with just 5 1/2" of suspension lift but it will require either a stiff suspension or bump stops to keep the tires from hitting the body. I personally run 5 1/2" of suspension with 3" of body lift which ...

Interesting information. I'm lookin at going full width, 78/79 broncos seem more abundant. John 78/79 work however they are not the "best" option for the frontend because the wedges are cast into the housing. There are several options to get around that though. There are a couple of alternate options as well. One would be to replace the fuse link with a Megafuse and the other would be to put a breaker in instead. It's a decent choice but there are a few things to consider. The truck intake on it is very tall and even with a 3" body lift it's going to be higher than the hood. To fit you need to either cut the hood and build a custom scoop or switch to a car style intake instead and still use the body lift. (I...

They didn't call them 5.8 in 1978 however they did have a 351M motor that was available which is 5.8 liters. These motors actually will bolt into the motor mounts in an EB however they had the 460 bellhousing pattern so they don't bolt up to the tranny. They are also quite a bit larger than the 351W...

Just to confirm: what was stated above is correct. With hydroboost you have one to three times of braking under pressure from the accumulator before it stops supplying boosted brakes. Once that occurs you are left with manual brakes. This is better than what vacuum leaves you with because the hydrob...
