just couldnt make it

no matter what I tried, I could not put two and two together, to get the truck running ... first it was bad gas, then was an exploded distributor weights assembly , then third was exhaust problems ...

guess it wasn't in the cards to get to dml this year.

woahink is a very strict place .. they adhere to the rules line by line.... also it is a very hard place to get into .... so if you are into a big party all night long... it is not the place to go .....

there aint to much torque involved in mine at all .. it starts building power about 3,000 rpms or so ... and really starts to run about 5,000 . I am trying to figure a way myself , of getting some torque out of it ...for trailer towing ....if I let it get lugged down, it really pitches a fit. I alwa...

the case is a t shift... it is still hooked to the 3 spd trans... you can have it all for the same price. even the cross member..... I am up in Portland off of the I-205 ...

and stock 68 I do have a set of side glass. get hold of me on the phone... if you still have the number.

well, first thing I would do is to see if it was actually over heating, or was it just pukeing by the radiator cap. actuall temperature will have to be chacked out , as ell as the cap and over flow system... if it doesn't have an overflow system, then you might want to get one on it . looks to have the same issues mine had/has... pull off the distributor cap, put a socket on the crank shaft ,and turn the crank back and forth, to see what kind of timing chain play you have , also bring to top dead center, and look at the rotor, is it even near the number one position ?

yea, it wouldn't be adviseable to get it too close to the radiator, then go head for the nearest wash out ,or boulder pile. just the tweaking of the body would take a bite out of the radiator. I was mostly talking about a vehicle that doesn't do much other than pavement. the shroud thing is the best...

you want the fan blade to sit about 1/2 of its width , inside of the shroud. the rest of the fan blade should be exposed twords the motor side. for proper draw of air through the whole set up .

with no shroud, I usually get the fan as close to the radiator as humanly possible.

in my opinion, if there is enough of a short on the system, to cause charring at the battery post or cable, do not drive the rig... until you have gotten it figured out . basicly the battery is a hydrogen bomb... and if it has a direct short of that magnitude, you could be in big trouble, also could...

mabie just one more .. the pics are so crappy ..... the lights are so bright, they were reflecting off of the shop door,, and then back onto the wind shield, then ,back into the camera .....it is a good thing I didn't go get a couple of these on my own... thanks to the misses for a great set of ligh...
