Possible Bill Stroppe Roll Bar For Sale - Long Island, NY - $100

I bought this a few years ago for a 1972 restoration. I ended up going with a different roll bar. I can't be 100% that this is a Stroppe bar, but it looks exactly like one. I painted it with Rustoleum, and it's gotten kind of scratched up since then. It needs new paint or maybe powder coating. I CAN...

Need help diagnosing ticking sound

I need a starting point in figuring out what's ticking under my truck. It kind of comes and goes - some days, nothing. But when I drive the truck for a while (today, I drove it around town for a few hours, visiting friends and running errands) it starts to tick. It's pretty loud, and the ticking is ...

I am probably calling the guage on the speedo cluster the wrong thing when I call it a "voltmeter", but it's the guage that measures the charging system, on the right side of the cluster. Your explanation of the problem makes perfect sense, especially since I have also fried a couple of voltage regu...

Bouncing voltmeter/Dead Oil Pressure guage

I recently installed a "new" instrument cluster because my old speedometer was not working anymore. Now my voltmeter bounces all over the place and my oil pressure guage barely registers. I installed the old guages off the old cluster, but the problems still exist. I also replaced the voltage regula...

Sun visors and soft top - how to? Any ideas?

I was wondering if anyone had some ideas/pics of how to install sun visors in a truck with a soft top. I am specifically interested in creative ideas for the middle of the windshield frame. At the moment, I have my wiper motor cover in the truck, with the visors installed normally. But I don't want ...

I need to replace my carburator (302 V8 with an auto tranny) and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for me. There are a lot to choose from, with prices all over the map. I bought this roll bar a while ago, and decided not to install it. While looking at the pics of the Stroppe Baja Bronco at the JBG site, I noticed some striking similarities between their roll bar and mine. So, what do you all think - do I have a Stroppe roll bar? If so, what's it worth?
