Bronco t-shirts...ten bucks

Post by TCheney » Mon May 16, 2005 9:18 am

In response to a general outrcy of approval I am offering a new t-shirt based on the art called "the project." This shirt is designed to get dirty. It will be printed in black ink on a grey heavy duty 100% cotton t-shirt. You can wear it while you work on your Bronco, or to inspire you when you aren't. The message proudly states that even though your Bronco is in pieces at the moment, it will rule the trail and the highway again one day.

The shirt quality is excellent. The same brand that the MEB used on shirts I designed for them 2 years ago. I have worn that shirt often and it has held up VERY well through countless outings and equally countless washes.

The price of the shirt is $10 each (S-XL) or 3 for $25. Shipping will be USPS priority mail. The cost to ship one shirt is $4.80. Please add .50 for each additional shirt in your order.
--update-- After checking with the printer, I must add that sizes lager than XL are slightly higher. 2XL, please add $1 per shirt, 3XL, please add $2 per shirt. Sorry!

The art is at the printer. His hand is poised over the silkscreen. The black ink drips like venom. He awaits my phone call with a shirt quantity. This is where you come in.....

If you are interested in a shirt, please e-mail me directly at thom@broncofix.com Please use "I Believe" in your subject line to help me sort mail and get your order.
In your e-mail please tell me how many shirts and the size(s) you need. Please include your shipping address as well.
I will respond with an e-mail confirming your order and giving you a total with shipping. If you place an order, I am considering you committed to purchasing the shirt. WOE BE UNTO those who would place an order and back out after I have their shirt printed.

I would like to close the order in one week (5/22).

When the shirts are done and in my possession, I will e-mail you again and request funds. I accept cash, money orders, paypal and personal checks. Understandably, I will hold your order until your check clears. All others will ship immediately upon receipt of funds. Note to paypal people, please be sure you have some indicator that will clue me as to who you are. If your e-mail is tuffMF@hardcor.net, and your paypal name is cutebunny@fluffypants.biz, I may become confused. It happens. Help me by being clear.

The printing time on these shirts will likely be about 1.5 weeks. Your shirt will be in your hands sometime in very early June. You will be the envy of people everywhere. When you wear this shirt in public, others will acknowledge your commitment to your Bronco. They will feel your pain. They will know the joy you feel as each package arrives, putting you one part closer to your goal.

...and coincidentally, the proceeds from this sale will put me one step closer to my goal, namely, Line-X for the interior of my Bronco.

Thank you!!!

a reluctant yes... if you are deeply committed to wearing art on your back instead of front, I can have it done. Please specify when you order.

The initial order is closed. If you missed out, don't fret, I ordered a couple extra. No guarantee that I have your size. They are first come, first served.

Stay tuned to this thread... this design will be on a sweatshirt once I get the t-shirts out.

I think that a second run of these shirts is a must! I must have somehow missed the first few posts about them. After seeing the finished product I'm sure there will be plenty of interest in them to make more of them worth your while. Anyone that has an interest in ordering one of these shirts should drop a short reply to this post to show how much interest is out there!! GREAT JOB on the design by the way!

That would look pretty sweet on a coffee cup too. Or maybe a tequila shot glass...

Wow! I can't believe they are all spoken for! Here we go again!.....

The second run of shirts is on... if you would like to order, follow the instructions at the top of this thread. This is a last call. After Wednessday (6/22/05), I will be closing the order. Unfortunately, because of paypal fees, the price will go up slightly AFTER this order.

If you e-mailed me after the first order, but I didn't give you a shipping total or confirmed your shirt order, please e-mail me again with your request for sizes and quantities.

I will also have long sleeved t-shirts and crewnecked sweats in this order. Long sleeved t-s (S-XL) will be $15 and sweatshirts will be $20. Larger sizes are a little more. Same high quality shirts.

Thanks again to all who ordered!

I dealt with this once before. It was someone selling a modified version of the "Leakster." (by the way.... this same seller has another shirt that has a Bronco pooping on a Jeep). He got all snippy about how the modifications had nullified the copyright. Yeah... whatever. I've been doing this a long time. I know that copyright law by heart. By the time the Bfix listers got done with him, it wasn't pretty. I think he sold his Bronco and bought a Kia. This one is pretty blatant. Hopefully my request does the job.
