Nice! What's the tire/wheel/lift combo you got there? 16's?

Hey all, I'm new here, and a little late on this topic it would seem, but what the hell here she is. I destroyed my first one, a '72, on some ice after owning it for 2 weeks (the pictures actually made it into Bronco Driver). But that was enough time to catch the bug, and bad. Turned right around and bought this '70 almost completely stock, and did all the work with the help of my dad as my first ever vehicle project. 5.5 Duff's suspension w/ tube arms, 2 inch body lift, D44 w/ Chevy discs, 4.88 gears, power steering, NP435, headers/flowmasters, and lots of little stuff. Took her to my first SOB this year, and I'd like to say I'm amazed at the quality people these vehicles seem to attract. I'm proud to be joinin the club!

I can barely see the snake with that pesky truck in the way.

BTW: is your bronco located in the "twilight zone"? Where everything is black and white except broncos and reptiles.

Here is a photo of my bronco in it's current state. Right now I am at the end of installing a NV3550 and rebuilt Dana 20, and have the stock 302 rebuilt and ready to put in. Will be doing both within the next week.

This is my first Bronco and learning as I go. Have rebuilt a few mustangs - and this is a fairly straight forward project. It is a '69 302. Rebuilt suspension, 2.5 lift, 1" body lift, disc brakes, 6-point cage, centech harness, 3-point seat belts....and other odds/ends. Planning to be done for spring driving. [/img]

Those were in the Old days when you could drive on the sand after midnight back before RegularShawn had to go and ruin it. The big candy ass he couldn't just lay there and bleed taking it like a man he had to call 9-1-1, ruiner.

First, it was in the works to change in September, so not my fault, and second I did not call 9-1-1, as I could not move...............or breath for that matter. And if David wanted to make it through those tank traps he could have...................he would of just ended up upside down and backwards.

The difference between an amusing anecdote and a cautionary tale is most often the use of a seat belt

That was a most outstanding day at the river. A manly drive down to the river, people floating by, cold beer, landslides right in front of us, Starkys lady sunning herself, , , and a manly drive back out.

My project

Post by william.jones2 » Fri Aug 21, 2009 11:19 am

Here are some pics of my '67 Bronco. Bought it a couple of years ago from an old guy down in the Florida Panhandle while I was on mid-tour leave from Iraq. I luckily stumbled across it in the local classifieds. My Dad had a couple (one driver, one burnt to the ground donor) when I was a teenager and I always wanted to pick up one of my own. It is in really good shape considering its age but, it is in dire need of a powerplant upgrade. I am currently stationed in Northern Virginia, are there any Bronco clubs in this neck of the lower 48?
