Did you import that Bronco into the VI, or was it already there?

Just curious. I've been to St. Thomas. Got married there at Magens Bay beach. Beautiful place. Didn't seem like an environmentally friendly place for vintage trucks though.

Hey Scodge. Thats cool, Magens is a great beach, a few too many tourists though haha! & you are right...this island has taken a toll on my bronco. These are "some" of the battle scars i hope to fix w/ time, startin with floor pans and a bikini top. The latter may be easier to find down here :)

I live in Carpinteria, CA, which has the same effect on vintage steel as the VI. My Bronco has more surface rust after 18 mos of living here then it did after 30 years of living in Los Angeles. I wouldn't live anywhere else, though. My wife and I did think about staying in ST. Thomas after the windjammer docked, though.

Hum yeah let me correct you right now. There is a path of distruction where ever Tom goes. Not all of it is while he is behind the wheel. So Matthew dont even let your dad spot for you

That is a great looking project, I'd love to see the interior also. It looks really straight and I cant see much in the way of rust from the pics. Have fun and keep the pics coming.

It has been repainted at least once, maybe twice.
Yes very little rust, do major body damage, hood did fly open, but its fixable.
going to be a slow project, just a few days a month to work on it.

Manning, Or. nice. you should have plenty of time there to work on it what with no cell service, cable and limited satellite. Unless you live in uptown Manning.
