won't start when hot

Post by yddizan » Mon Oct 27, 2014 5:46 pm

My 70 bronco with a 302 starts fine when cold, but once it heats up and I go to restart it, it acts like the battery is dying. I have a new starter, soleniod, and the battery is only a year old. Any ideas?

Mine does the exact same thing. Let it cool off, starts right up... gets hot, chokes out, dies & wont crank...

Ground. Remove the ground on the engine, clean it and if possible, replace the cable to ensure that the ends are good. I use Corrosion X HD on as many connections as possible.
