Ideas on restoring this 1970 bronco?

Post by 70bronco70 » Sun Aug 07, 2016 10:00 pm

I couldn't resist this 70 bronco even though body has a lot of rust. Got a good deal on this but I know it will take a lot of $$$ to get it the way I want.
This belonged to a baha racer who bought it for parts but never got around to it before he sadly passed away. I'm a newbie as this is my first project truck. I do have friends that have fully equipped garages so hopefully they will help. This bronco is hardly original, has 351w ,automatic tran, chassis looks solid to me. Wondering the best path to take to get the body strong. I'm not worried about reselling it or making a proffit... I want to keep her. If anyone recognizes this bronco let me know.

I'm pretty sure that has been stretched.

Are you a member on classicbroncos.com?

It is a much more active forum, though many are members of both.

Looks like the Bronco was in Colorado when the pics were taken.

Wow all kinds of interesting modifications on that one! I like the dual shocks mounted above the axle to control wheel hop. It is stretched and has a very custom dash also. Other than the rust it looks like a great project. You will have lots of fun with that!

Clean up the rats and rust and see what you end up with.
