Sword and magic helmet

Post by Mikey » Wed Dec 15, 2004 10:25 am

Ok no sword but I did find a magic helmet, there will still be no
killing of the rabbit. After the talk of auto darkening helmets I thought I
would let everyone know about this gem
http://store.cyberweld.com/janeaudaleww.html. I'm not a huge fan of the auto
darkening helmet but this one is killer. I just received mine yesterday and
used it for 10 hours straight at work, I am in love with this hood. The
large viewing area is a god send and the sensitivity is incredible.
Yesterday I thought there was something wrong with the delay, turns out the
glow from the weld was enough to keep the helmet dimmed down, turned the
sensitivity down and problem solved. The staggered redundant sensors makes
TIG welding nice, with my speedglass this was a huge problem my big fat
hands kept getting in the way of the sensors turning off the helmet and
blinding me. This helmet is ultra fast and gives a blue tint which makes the
welding area so clear you can see everything. I've tried so many auto
helmets and owned a few, this one is hands down my favorite. If you weld for
a living, like me, or just have the spare coin laying around I highly
recommend this helmet.
