I think it was LOW KEY that did it.  Is it still two speed or do you lose that?

JD, the hard top is on and seems to fit the way it did before WRT the doors. Is there a way to move it forward with the top on?

Someone posted on classic broncos about using a rear wiper motor from a Cherokee , I picked one up the other day and it still need work to fit, but it is nice and small.

I just installed a roll cage that was custom built in a '73 in my '66. The problem is I previously retro fitted the wiper system from a '72 the and the wiper motor hits the cross bar. It needs between 1/2" to 3/4" to clear. This is with the stock bracket and a drop bracket.
Do later model motors have a shorter output shaft? This one measures 1  1/16" from the mounting plate out to the top of the shaft nut.
Has anyone else dealt with this?  Is there a motor that fits better?
I have the '79 intermittent switch and don't want to loose that feature, and the front of the cage is a hoop so moving the cross bar is not an option.
