Bent inner C AKA inner knuckle

Post by TonyNokes » Tue Jan 16, 2018 3:26 pm

Looks like I bent my inner C when my u-joint exploded on Cadillac Hill this summer. I can’t find specific measurements for the Inner C but the ball joints don’t fit up right. I am thinking about using a large bolt through the upper and lower ball joint holes to bend it back to shape then add a gusset to keep it in the right place.

Anyone tried this?
Recommend gussets?
Thoughts?

Well, I tried it tonight. Went easy so far. I am going to check the fit tomorrow.

Like OJ's glove! Actually, it worked great after the second round. First time I didn't go far enough.
