Cluster Tubes

Post by Tom Dummer » Mon Jul 13, 2015 6:08 pm

Does anyone have an idea on what to use for the dash cluster tubes that go around the turn signal and high beam lights? I need to get this back together tonight. They're just cardboard tubes

Got a whole closet full of them. Remember those old pants hangers that were 2/3 wire, then the bottom 1/3 was a cardboard tube?
Used them for home-made M-80's when i was a kid (well, very small M-80's at least. M-40's?) and while they're thicker than needed, they're probably just about the right diameter.

What about a plastics place and tubes just the right size? Could paint them black maybe.

Good luck.

I went with unwrapping a toilet paper tube, reinforcing it with masking tape and cutting to length.
But I like the hanger M80 idea. :guns:
