MEB Rausch Creek Run - August 22!

Post by GaryD » Sun Aug 02, 2009 8:35 am

You're invited! Please join us for MEB's annual Rausch Creek Run on Saturday August 22, 2009 in Tremont, PA. This is a one-day wheeling event which is free other than the normal Rausch Creek fees. Here's the link to Rausch for further info - http://www.rauschcreekoffroadpark.com/

Also, see the MEB website for more info - http://www.earlybroncos.com/

We'll meet up on Saturday morning and divide into trail rides based on rig/driver capability. Please get there in time to be checked-in and ready to hit the trails by 9:00 am. Bring a packed lunch to eat on the trail.

Rausch was home to this year's East Coast King of the Hammers (KOH) Qualifier last May. So if you're thinking about KOH this might be a good time to check out the trails and obstacles on the KOH course!

Please post up if you are planning to come or if you any have questions.

With the RC Rocks event going on it will be a bit of a zoo on the 22nd for our ride - there will be lots going on so we need a good plan to meet up in the morning! We should be able to get in some good wheeling an AND see some professional rock crawling! Plus a bunch of vendors will be there - you won't want to miss it!

Tow rig parking may be in the lot across the street. I suggest arriving early (by 8 am or so) to get a parking spot and for checking in at the office. If you've never been to RC you'll need to fill out a membership form - membership is good for 1 year.

We will meet up and be ready to roll at around 9:00 am at the far NORTH end of the main parking lot / staging area. This will be to the RIGHT of the office as you drive in the gate. Just go to the right and look for all the Broncos! Should be a mix of EBs and some FSBs. We'll hit the trails from there.

So far we've got about 20 rigs coming to wheel. This includes responses on CB, on FullSizeBroncos and the mailing lists. Should be a good time!

Weather looks to be high of 74 with a small chance of scattered showers - great temp and maybe some rain tho keep the dust down!!

Remember we will meet at the north end of the parking lot ready to go at 9:00 am. Hope to see you there!
